Citizens Bank Announces Plan for New Truckee Branch
Nevada City, California, January 27, 2006. Citizens Bank of Nevada County (the “Bank”), subsidiary of Citizens Bancorp (PINK SHEETS: CZNB), announced today that they have submitted an application to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (“FDIC”) for approval to open a new branch office in Truckee. The new branch, if approved, will be located at 12047 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, CA.
President & CEO Judy Hess said, “Our new office in Truckee is a long-desired step for our Bank into the eastern portion of our county. While we already serve many of our neighbors in Truckee, our presence later this summer will allow us to expand our existing delivery of high-quality, diversified financial services to additional residents and businesses.” She added, “Our ‘Your community. Founded in February 1995, Citizens Bank, headquartered in Nevada City, became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company in 2003. The Bank currently has five branches: one in Nevada City, two in Grass Valley, one in Lake of the Pines, and one in Penn Valley.
