Important Changes to your Personal Online Banking Sign-on

We have implemented a new Online Banking system for our “Personal Banking” customers. Here are the most exciting features:

Although the navigation remains very similar to the previoius system, the “look and feel” (or interface) has been given a complete facelift.

You will now see your balance and transactions in real time. You won’t need to wait until the next day to see your account activity. For example, if you make a deposit at the branch, withdraw cash from an ATM, or buy a cup of coffee with your debit card – you’ll see the transaction appear almost immediately!

We will also be launching this new system for our “Business Banking” customers in the near future.

Important Changes to your Online Banking Sign-on

Your security is our top priority. Effective Tuesday, November 28th, as an Online Banking user you will have a new way to reduce fraud and identity theft with the launch of our new security feature. Our new feature will help confirm your identification when signing in to our Online Banking service through a two-way authentication process. Here's how this new feature will work:

• You’ll enter your Online ID and click the Sign In button.
• Pick an image (called a PassMark), write a brief phrase, and select three challenge questions.

Signing up for our new security feature will take just a few minutes. The image, personal phrase, and challenge questions work together to help:

Protect Your Accounts
When someone tries to access an account from an unrecognized computer they must answer one of your challenge questions correctly. So even if your login ID and password have been stolen through spyware, a phony web site, or even from your own handwritten note, the thief would be required to answer a challenge question to get access to the account preventing the thief from accessing your account information.

Confirm the Web site's validity
Once you enter your login ID and click the submit button, you will see your secret image and phrase. If the image and phrase don’t appear, you could be at a fraudulent site. This capability targets a fraud called spoofing, and will help ensure that you are not deceived by fake versions of our Web site.
